Patrick lived in San Diego more years on many of his boats he built. the first three where of course orange, so they where quickly spotted by some cute sheila she was talking to.
The last one was dark blue? don't know way, except that the first three sink!!
Patrick always like to help people, he built some much on our ranch in Texas, every time he came to visit I would pull out one of my magazines and ask him to built it. and he would say oh that nothing I'll have that done in two shakes of a dead lamb tail.

Patrick, father of my wonderful daughter in law Heather, was my friend. We had houses on the Buckhorn Ranch and spent time having dinner with Heather and Buck or enjoying time at the pool just visiting and listening to his life experiences. He was one of a kind, I miss you Patrick rest in peace. Praying for all his children during this difficult time, love to all of you.

Pat lived one slip over from the Starsong aboard the Moana Kiela;which was tied up at the Embarcedero here in San Diego. Pat extended the hand of friendship to me and thus I joined the cast of characters in his life from 1979-1985...when I moved off the sail boat. He had many tales....a most interesting life. Many a night I would be welcomed aboard for a glass of wine and some talk about what was, what is, and what would be. I'll miss ya Pat.

Knew pat for years and spent some time with him there on the boat, Scavenged up part's for I think it was #3 after he lost the boat at La Hina. He was always good for a beer or hysterically funny story and is one of the chocolate chip's in my cookie of life. Fair wind's and a flat sea my friend !

I have very fond memories with Pat, we worked together in the 80's and I helped work and sail on his first boat (I think). I had my 25th birthday party on that boat anchored just off Shelter Island in San Diego. As my mother was preparing to come aboard, a swell mismatched the two boat heights and into the drink she went. I tipped many cold beverages with Pat after work wit our crew at Brehm Communities. My prayers to the family and just remember that the funny stories are still waiting for us

I've known Patrick since I moved onto an old wooden schooner in 06, from the first time I met him on the dock, he was a wonderful friend to me. We would sit in the wheelhouse and drink plum wine while Patrick told me all his stories and I would drag him to every bbq I could find. We went through alot together, wrecked cars(both of ours}, new hip {patrick's}, almost lost my boat on the rocks,Patrick saved us. I'm really gonna miss him, but you can see alot of him when you look at Heather, and I hope to never lose touch. Bye Patrick, Im gonna miss you forever
