Angus Sinclair (Clair Or Sinclair) Wyeth, 6th son 10th child of Thomas Wyeth and Margaret Rachel Ann (nee McLeod) Wyeth, was born on 1 June 1902 in Masterton, New Zealand, died on 5 Aug 1967 in Puketeraki, Otago, N.Z. at age 65, and was buried in Puketeraki, Otago, New Zealand.

Clair married Marara Hera Atanui (Ata) Ellison on 29 Dec 1934 in Masterton, New Zealand, daughter of John Ellison and Hera (nee Parata) Ellison . Ata was born on 6 Feb 1910 in Puketeraki, died on 27 Jul 1987 in Dunedin, New Zealand at age 77, and was buried in Puketeraki.

Roslyn Matapura Wyeth was born on 13 Dec 1935 in Masterton, Wairarapa, New Zealand. Roslyn married Coral Rose Hodges on 4 Jul 1959 in Dunedin, New Zealand, daughter of Thomas Montague Raines Hodges and Alice Winifred (Winifred) (nee Kropp) Hodges. Coral was born on 28 Aug 1938 in Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand.

Roger Sinclair Erihana Wyeth was born on 15 Feb 1949 in Palmerston. Roger married Christine Mary Young on 24 Jan 1974 in Queenstown, N.Z, daughter of William Alexander Dawson Young and Margaret Joyce (nee Wither) Young. Christine was born on 14 Jan 1951 in Invercargill, New Zealand.

As a young man Dad played rugby in Wairarapa for Otaki & Red Star Clubs. After they were married in 1934 they stayed in Masterton, until they moved down to Puketeraki / Karitane in late 1937 where they had a small farm.

Clair was conscripted into Army in 1939 to Burnham, Christchurch.  He departed from New Zealand in late 1939 with the 20th Battalion for the middle east.  Dad was in the campaigns of Greece, Crete, & the dessert he was wounded in Sidi Rezegh where he was taken prisoner of war held by the Italians until they were overun by English Troops.  He spent time in soldiers hospital in Egypt.  He was then repatriated back to New Zealand where he spent sometime in the Monticello Hospital(soldiers home).

After some months in Monticello Dad recovered & purchased his Farm at Puketeraki 570 acres, which he & mum farmed for 12 years.

They retired in ???? he had a short retirement.
