      The inscription on the headstone reads: Gloria in excelsis deo erected by Thomas Dowling in memory of his beloved children Robert Dowling who died 26th December 1875 aged 24years . Mary Toohey who died 25th December 1875 age 27years.Alice Dowling who died 17th April 1887 aged 17 years, Also the above Thomas Dowling who died 23rd October 1901aged 94 years and his beloved wife Mary who died the 18th January 1902 aged 77 years. A bronze plaque attached to the head stone reads also their son Timothy Dowling who died 1.12.1923 aged 59 years.
