  George Wyeth born in Petone, then known as Britannia, on 27 April 1841 the third child born in New Zealand of Parents married in New Zealand and the first child born to Robert and Jane (nee Runnalls) Wyeth. George was confirmed at Christs Church Taita on 1 January 1856 and was educated in Wellington.
