Notes: St Johns Church was designed by architect Frederick de Jersey Clere and is a category one building of the NZ Historic Places Trust. It was consecrated in 1882. Colonel Feilding gave the vessels for the church and the altar cloth was worked by Lady Louise Feilding in memory of her brother in law, the Earl of Denbigh. Open by appointment only.
