St Paul's has stood in Papanui since 1853, with the present Church dating back to 1877. Our Bell Tower has a full peal of eight bells and we are this year (2005) celebrating the 125th Anniversay of the installation of the Tower Bells. A large cemetery surrounds our church, and we get many enquiries from people who are seeking information on their forebears. Today, it also provides a peaceful oasis to sit and rest in the midst of the busy Papanui business area.
